Anyone can sell cars for a living, but to sell classic and vintage cars when you have a passion for them can be quite a feat. We at Jag's Classic Automobile Sdn Bhd understand and have experience with these old Marques of a bygone era that has nudged us into the classic car business.
Yes, we may be attached to a certain car, but being a trader we try our best not to be as we are running a business. Having spent 38 years in the car industry, we understand the business well enough to set up two shops selling cars at the Perdana Business Centre in Damansara Perdana.
Jag's Classics Automobiles Sdn. Bhd. specializes in continental and classics cars, such as, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz Rolls Royce, Alfa, Porsche and many other marquees. We also provide Motor insurance and JPJ services. Customers can also trade in or sell their regular cars here.
Classics car collection has a niche market as most classic cars were sold in cash. Most of our clients are regulars who are collectors of these cars. Contrary to popular belief, buying classic cars as a hobby would not cost you a bomb. We can help a beginner choose a car based on their age, needs and budget.
For example, we usually recommend Triumph and MGB's which are sold for about RM30.000 onwards as an entry level collection to young executives intending to take up this hobby. Enthusiast could broaden his or her collection or upgrade to other well known Marques like Jaguars, Mercedes Benz and the higher range as time goes by. Buying a classic car is also an ideal investment because unlike new cars which depreciate in value, classic car value is stable and appreciates from time to time.
The rarest car we ever sold was a 1927 Morris Cowley which was sold in 1995 at RM75, 000. Maintenance and spare parts is not really an issue as there are shops which cater to the classics car enthusiasts. As a responsible company we would provide the customer with after sales service and would not hesitate to recommend the specialists in the field.
Depending on the make and brand, we have the contacts to do everything from refurbishing to paintwork and even engine maintenance.
