BMW R1150GS Adventure 2002

This is certainly no ordinary motorcycle.
 
The R1150GS Adventure is the hardier compatriot of the regular GS line, outfitted for more versatile on-road and off-road use. In service of that added versatility, the bike features most prominently an up-sized 30-liter fuel tank. This turns what was already an excellent long distance warrior into an absolute mile-cruncher. Add to that a larger screen, revised suspension for a taller ride and a differing gearbox setup amongst other changes and the GS Adventure topped the pyramid of bikes in its range.
 
Only 3 Adventure models of the R1150GS were brought into Malaysia new by BMW, and this happens to be one of the elusive units. Purchased brand new by the owner of the Malaysian branch of Wunderlich, a name that should be familiar to most two-wheeled enthusiasts, it is no surprise that this unit comes chock-full of extras. In the words of the current second owner, "he put half of his shop on this bike!".

With just over 75k kilometers on the clock, this R1150GS Adventure is barely a toddler in its lifespan, with many owners having clocked well into the 6 figure digits and still going strong. Indeed, the GS line has come to be known for its longevity and ease of maintenance.
