In and around the top of the list would definitely be the R129 SL, and it's no coincidence.

The R129 has always been a great blend of luxurious comfort and sporty aesthetic. Having been over-engineered back at the turn of the 90's, the R129 is still going strong.

This particular model is the 24-valve 3-liter variant. It's a great combination of usability and reasonable maintenance, still being largely mechanical in nature. It's clad in a brilliant black with a hint of speckle in the light, absolutely stunning.

Mechanically sound, this 300SL is a joy to drive and surely a great purchase for any need.
